Helpline Center Weekly Opportunities Connecting People

The Helpline Center knows just how important the human connection is. It makes all the difference, daily, in the lives of people in our community. This week they have a number of volunteer opportunities that are all about meeting people and changing their lives for the better.

• St. Francis House - You can be a vital part of the house's mission to "move people from homelessness to hope", by becoming a volunteer driver, to help their guests get to work, appointments, job interviews, and meetings.
• Salvation Army - This volunteer office assistant position is perfect for someone who loves greeting people, answering phones, and assisting with various office tasks and can help out at least one day a week.
• Levitt at the Falls - Volunteers are the lifeblood of this great organization and the new season is right around the corner. So if you love live music and want to hang out with a whole bunch of other music lovers, becoming a Levitt volunteer is a great way to spend your spare time this summer.
