Have you ever lost your smart phone before? Did you go into immediate panic mode?

Don't worry, you're not alone.

68% of people admitted they'd go into panic mode once they discovered their phone was missing, and get this, they even said they would be willing to put themselves in danger to get a stolen phone back.

There's no denying the fact that when you lose your phone it sucks. It can be devastating. Not only is it expensive to replace, many times you lose a large portion of your life and your privacy. Think about all the stuff you have downloaded in your smartphone. Chances are it's filled with all kinds of things that you don't want just anybody having easy access too.

So I can see why most people feel that way. I just don't know if I'd be willing to jump into shark infested waters to retrieve it to be honest. I mean I like my phone, but not that much!

However, almost 70% of people said they'd be willing to put themselves in, quote "some amount of danger" to get that phone back.

50% of people would also be willing to pay as much as $500 to get their phone back if a thief was holding it for a ransom. 33% of people are even more desperate, and willing to pay as much as $1000 bucks!

You should know the most common places to either lose or have their phone stolen are your car, house, pocket and purse. Hold on to your smart phone for dear life in places like bars and in the workplace. They have a nasty habit of turning up missing there too.
