I stopped at a grocery store here in Sioux Falls and while I was searching the aisles I noticed a guy with a gal who was pushing a cart full of food.

While she was doing the shopping, he was walking alongside the cart reaching into a package of open cookies, pulling them out one by one and stuffing them into his face.

It was quite obvious that they had not yet paid for the groceries, as they had not yet reached the checkout line.

I just found this interesting.  It got me thinking:  When does the stuff in your grocery cart become your stuff?  Is it when you load it in the cart?  Or is it after you check out?

Is it right or wrong to eat grocery store food before you purchase it?
