Wanna go to Mars? Well here is your chance. NASA is currently allowing people to sign up their name to be sent on Mars 2020 rover. As part of a publicity campaign, the public can fill out a form and have a name coded on a microchip to head up into space next year.

The opportunity to send your name to Mars comes with a souvenir boarding pass and "frequent flyer" points. Not sure what the frequent flyer points do for you but anyway,  more than a million people have already signed up in the first 24 hours. According to Space.com, Thomas Zurbuchen, associate administrator for NASA's Science Mission Directorate in Washington, D.C. said in a statement:

"As we get ready to launch this historic Mars mission, we want everyone to share in this journey of exploration, it's an exciting time for NASA, as we embark on this voyage to answer profound questions about our neighboring planet and even the origins of life itself."
