New Orleans Saints assistant coach Joe Vitt found himself in quite the interesting position the other day and he noticed someone in his front yard trying to steal his car.

Vitt noticed a man trying to break into his car and at the same time he noticed a woman trying to break into his neighbors vehicle as well.

Instead of just letting the authorities deal with, Vitt went on the offensive as he soon as the suspects started running after they noticed him.

Vitt chased after them before tripping and suffering injuries in which he had to go to the hospital and a torn achillies was the diagnosis.

According to the authorities, the suspects remain at large.

Joe Vitt's name may be familiar to some NFL fans, as other than being the linebackers coach for the Saints, when Bounty Gate went down and the suspension of Saints head coach Sean Peyton, Vitt was named interim head coach.
