Are you looking for some exciting things for your kids to do around Sioux Falls over their summer break? Check out Sioux Falls Community Education's newest summer opportunities for your kids called Camp Invention.

According to Community Education Specialist Kelli Fahey, “Camp Invention is a nationally acclaimed summer program where STEM concepts come to life for K-5th graders! This program taps into kids' natural curiosity, providing them opportunities to become innovators through teamwork and immersive, hands-on, creative problem-solving!

The 2020 program, Elevate, explores the principles of flight through high-flying challenges and experiments.  Campers build prototypes to solve real-world problems, protect the Earth's ecosystems by exploring energy conservation and eliminating pollution, and become game-changers in the sports arena by developing new games, equipment, and sports facilities! Each camper takes home their own customized robot!”

Registration is open to those entering Kindergarten - Fifth Grades. The event is held at R.F. Pettigrew Elementary in Sioux Falls June 8th-11th, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p. m.
