On St. Pats day we are all a little bit Irish. Especially if it means we get to party!

The 35th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade will be held in downtown Sioux Falls on Saturday, March 15.

Pat Gustaf, owner of Gustaf's Greenery, is this years Grand Marshal.  Pat is the perfect Irishman to kick of this years parade with the traditional Painting of the Shamrock.  That will take place at 11:45 Saturday morning at 9th Street and Phillips Ave. downtown Sioux Falls.

The parade will begin at 2 p.m. and forms at 5th Street and Main Avenue beginning at 12:30 p.m.

Vehicles will be lined up on a first-come, first served basis, and will proceed through the downtown area, starting at 5th Street and Main Avenue.

There is no entry fee to participate in the parade, but each adult (age 16 and older) participating in the parade must purchase and wear an official St. Patrick’s Day Parade button.

The cost is $3 per button, the proceeds of which are donated to the Special Olympics.  Buttons are available at the Chamber of Commerce office at 200 N. Phillips Ave., Suite 102.

Here are Pat Gustaf, Patty Dee, & Shawn Cleary to tell you all about this Saturdays fun!
