If you don't remember (and why would you?), Patricia Krentcil first made headlines after her 5-year-old daughter was burnt in a tanning booth and she thought the situation was perfectly fine -- thus earning herself the media moniker "Tanning Mom."

Now, inspired by Farrah Abraham, she too wants to copulate on camera.

TMZ obtained a letter she wrote to Vivid Entertainment CEO Steve Hirsch, wherein she says:

"I see you are trying to buy this sex tape from this Teen Mom. Well, if you REALLY want to make more MONIES, then I would agree to let you film me and all my hotness. I am far MORE popular and WAY HOTTER than Farrah ... Men want a cougar and a real woman, not a teenybopper. Contact me back if you’re ready to talk serious cash and rock the world.”

Hirsch responded to the 45-year-old (who recently rolled around naked on a beach for the cameras) that Vivid did not have a "granny porn" section but that she would be "perfect for radio," adding, "You could talk about everything you've ever done on a tanning bed."

Don't give her any ideas, Steve.

Krentcil then fired back with the fury of 1,000 melanoma spots, saying the TMZ story was false and telling RumorFix, “I am not Farrah the teen mom, I’m not a whore, I’ve never done porn nor would I ever. They just took what I said, and turned it around for the media!”

She added that she was "furious with TMZ" and that they were falsifying the entire thing. (Are we sure she isn't related to Dina Lohan?)

After Steve Hirsch provided a copy of the email, Krentcil backtracked, later saying, “I was just confused with the questions. I did send the letter to Vivid, but after I did, I felt like I was being attacked by the public."

"What TMZ said about the letter was true. My manager is weighing all our options and benefits. I was not mad at TMZ!"

So it seems the Tanning Mom's porn career was over before it began. But hey, there's always the hand bag business.
