Town In Indiana Pays Tribute to ‘A Christmas Story’

On October 29th in Hammond, Indiana, Tourism officials created a bronze statue to illustrate the famous "triple dog dare" scene from "A Christmas Story". So why in Hammond, Indiana you ask? Well the writer from the movie, Jean Shepherd, wrote a 2 short stories about his time growing up in Hammond and it eventually was turned into the movie.

Scott Schwartz, the actor who played the role of Flick, attended Tuesday's unveiling.
