Four Sioux Falls teenagers are in jail after an attempted drug deal went awry over the weekend.

KDLT News is reporting that 19-year-old Kalup Collins Provancial was arrested on Sunday, (November 12) for first degree robbery, possession of a firearm with an altered serial number and aggravated assault.

Provancial, along with another 16-year-old Sioux Falls teen attempted to buy marijuana on Saturday, (November 11) from two other teens according to KDLT News.

During the drug deal, Provancial allegedly discharged a handgun into the floor. No one was injured as a result of the shot.

Police told KDLT News after the gun was fired, the two took off with the drugs. Authorities eventually caught up with all four suspects involved and had them in custody by Sunday night.

The gun Provancial had in his possession at the time of the incident was reportedly stolen from a vehicle in Sioux Falls on Friday night, (November 10).
