Elton John says "farewell" to Sioux Falls tonight as he brings his Final Curtain Tour to the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center. It's the last concert stop he'll ever make in Sioux Falls, SD.

While I was writing this, I checked Ticketmaster and there are a few tickets still available. Yes, you'll have to pay full regular price, they aren't discounted, but at least you'll be at the concert.

I always like to see what artists plan on playing during their tour. By knowing the song list, I can watch videos on YouTube of the songs I don't know and make myself familiar with them. It's also a way for me to get excited about the concert. After seeing what Sir Elton has been playing, I am SUPER excited about this concert.

Depending on the venue, he's been playing between 17 and 21 songs.

Here's his setlist from the Rock in Rio Festival, September 20:

  • The Bitch Is Back
  • Bennie and the Jets
  • Candle in the Wind
  • Levon
  • Tiny Dancer
  • Philadelphia Freedom
  • Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
  • Rocket Man (I Think It's Going to Be a Long, Long Time)
  • I Guess That's Why They Call It the Blues

  • Sad Songs (Say So Much)
  • Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word

Here's his setlist from Music Midtown in Atlanta, GA on September 18.

  • Candle in the Wind
  • All the Girls Love Alice

So, as you can see, it's definitely a "greatest hits" show. You'll know the words to most of the songs and you'll be able to sing along. I've seen Elton John in concert before and it was amazing. He is quite the showman.
