With Valentine's Day a week away, more and more of us will be looking for things a bit more on the romantic side to celebrate the big day.

One simple thing a couple can do to create that loving feeling is to share a good old fashioned romantic comedy to set just the right tone for Cupid's big day.

So which 'rom coms' are we drawn to most? That varies from state to state.

Mental Floss has broken down data from House Method which reveals there's one overwhelming choice for not only South Dakotans but residents of 18 other states.

It's 2005's The 40-Year Old Virgin, starring Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Banks, Jane Lynch, and Seth Rogan.

The Judd Apatow film is the hands-down winner nationwide, with the Apatow-produced Bridesmaids (2011) holding down the top spot in 11 states.

After that, it was a hodgepodge of flicks with13 Going on 30 (2004) and 500 Days of Summer (2009) winning four states each, and 2005’s Wedding Crashers the top choice in three states.
