Some of Sioux Falls's finest are climbing up on Hy-Vee rooftops this weekend to raise awareness and donations for Special Olympics South Dakota.

The South Dakota Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) is hosting another "Cops on Rooftops" event.

You'll find Sioux Falls Police Officers on the roof of Hy-Vee on Minnesota Avenue and at 26th & Marion Road from 8:00 to 11:00 AM  on Saturday, October 14.

These generous officers who are giving their time and service will be collecting donations from customers while on the roof. All funds raised during this event will go directly to Special Olympics South Dakota (SOSD) which supports over 2,700 Special Olympians across our state.

So swing by Hy-Vee on Minnesota Avenue, or on 26th Street, and grab an apple fritter (my favorite), or do your grocery shopping and donate to the Cops on Rooftops.
