I thought it was pretty cool when my neighbor's kid sold 124 boxes of Girl Scout cookies, but this takes the cake....er, cookie.

Katie Francis of Oklahoma City sold 18,107 boxes in seven weeks.  The sixth-grader says there are three ingredients needed to score large sales:  a lot of time, a lot of commitment and asking everyone she meets to buy.

Katie's troop receives a share of the proceeds from the fundraiser and intends to donate to breast cancer research.

Katie sold over 5,000 more boxes this year than last year.
