If you have a big project at work that needs to get done this week, you stand a better chance of getting it accomplished on Tuesday's between the hours of 9:00-11:00 A.M.

That is when workers are the most productive according to a new survey from Salary.com.

As a matter of fact, Tuesday's are the most productive day of the week, followed by Thursday.

Friday's and Monday's are the two days you can expect to find that slacker in the next cube surfing the Internet, BS-ing on their smart phone, attempting to set a new texting record or watching his or her favorite TV shows and movies on their tablet and computer.

It will come as no great surprise, that Friday afternoons between the hours of 3:00-5:00 are the least productive hours of the week. Everyone is busy down shifting into weekend mode  at that time.

The survey also found that more and more people are likely to waste time as the day goes on.  Each two-hour period of time after 11:00 A.M. is less productive than the last for the rest of the day.

People also tend not to get much done before 9:00 each morning too. That's when you will find most employees going through all their early morning routines like; saying all those obligatory hello's, grabbing coffee, logging into their computer, etc.

So bottom line, when you need to get something done on the job, count on the hours of 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday's.
